CNN to Air Both ABC News/WMUR/Facebook Presidential Debates Tonight
I just learned from Abbi Tatton that CNN will re-air last nights debates in which Ron Paul was included. Three cheers for CNN and Abbi Tatton! Here is the press release:
As part of CNN’s extensive coverage of America Votes 2008, the network will air a special encore edition of the ABC News/WMUR/Facebook presidential debates—both Republican and Democratic—tonight, Sunday, Jan. 6 beginning at 7 p.m. (ET). The debates follow a full day of political coverage starting with CNN’s Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer and continuing with New Hampshire’s “Ballot Bowl” coverage throughout the afternoon.
Last night, ABC “World News” anchor Charlie Gibson moderated the back-to-back Republican and Democratic debates, which aired live on the ABC Television Network from St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. Candidates addressed questions by WMUR-TV’s political director Scott Spradling for both 90-minute debates. Heart-Argyle’s WMUR-TV is also an affiliate of CNN.
