In defense of Liberty..

“Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice….and moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.”

– Barry Goldwater

On Sunday December 16th, 2007 we stood together and spoke louder than ever before in defense of Liberty. Tomorrow we will speak louder still, and then louder again the next day.

On November 5th, 2007 twenty one thousand proud patriots donated for the first time to the Ron Paul campaign. On December 16th, 2007 twenty five thousand more proud patriots joined us in our cause of Liberty. Our growth is staggering.

Why do we do it? Why do we give our hard earned dollars to the Ron Paul campaign? Why do we tell our friends and family about Ron Paul? Why do we wave signs on the side of the road? Paint our cars? Go door to door and hand out information? For each of us the reasons will vary but all of us have at least one reason in common. Liberty.

We admire Ron Paul for many things.. for his integrity, his truthfulness, his defense of morality.. and much more. But never forget that no man is great without greatness in the people who surround him. Never forget that no man can defend liberty until liberty beats in a million hearts along with his. Everything that you admire about Ron Paul exists in you and on December 16th you proved it.

From the bottom of my beating heart- thank you for having a heart that beats for liberty, and for all you do in her defense.

Sincerely,

Trevor Lyman
