1.) BreakTheMatrix Calls For Talent! Producers; Hosts; Technicians; Interns

One step at a time. This has been our watchword here at BreakTheMatrix; it’s the way we’re approaching every move in structuring and building the company. First the core team; then the website; then the social network community– and now we’re ready to create and implement our online television and radio platforms. For our early shows we’ve been using Yahoo Live, but it’s time for the next level. More shows and genres; stronger production values; streaming 24/7 network content; a dedicated chat room– all these things and so much more are in the works and getting ready for rollout. The time is here, and we’re asking freedom lovers to join us– BreakTheMatrix calls for talent!

  • BreakTheMatrixTV in 12 million homes – 3,237 Pledges / Goal 15,000
Across the United States, more than 1100 independent cable providers offer customers an alternative to the monolithic major communications conglomerates so diligently monitoring and controlling the programming they broadcast. Building on the success of Break the Matrix TV’s launch on the Bay Country Communications network, Basic Media, Inc. will execute similar broadcasting contracts with independent cable operators across the nation.
  • FreedomSlate08.com 758 Current Total Pledges
FreedomSlate08 is a multi-candidate fund raising day event organized by BreakTheMatrix on behalf of a slate of outstanding candidates who all share the values and philosophies of freedom. These are the people who will change America for the better! To elect them in November, 2008, these candidates need our support right now. We’ve gathered the best candidates together on a single slate, and we’re asking you to contribute $100 or more on FREEDOM DAY– July 4, 2008.
  • Operation St. Paul 154 Pledges / Goal 1,000
The GOP convention takes place in St. Paul, Minnesota this year on September 1st through the 4th. The mission: cover the city with a blend of outdoor advertisements in support of Ron Paul’s new book “The Revolution: A Manifesto”. Imagine billboard ads, bus ads, bus stop ads and more. Everywhere you turn the republicans will be haunted by penetrating quotes from the book coupled with it’s image. Simple, powerful, everywhere.. The message: we’re not going away.
  • FreedomTour08 Tour 71 Pledges / Goal 750
This tour is all about spreading the principles of the Founding Fathers and upholding the Constitution. Each night will feature short but positive speeches about freedom. No more duplicate emails…

with one comment

Greetings!

We wanted to let you know about some exciting changes we’re making that will help us do a better job keeping you informed about grassroots projects and initiatives in the freedom movement. Our primary objective is to make the experience much easier and faster than ever before, while providing you with better information in a less intrusive manner.

The Situation..

Since the November 5th money bomb event we’ve been using Feedburner to send out emails. While we like their system, it’s continued use with the ongoing stream of new projects in the grassroots community has created a number of issues.

Increasing Duplicate Emails

To help spread the word about other money bombs and grassroots projects, we’ve been asked repeatedly to send an email to each feedburner list from each event. We have to do this because we are unable to consolidate the Feedburner lists into one (a Feedburner limitation). We never know how many emails are on one list and not on any others. In short, if we don’t send out to each feedburner list each time we want to make contact with the community, we run the risk of keeping many out of the loop. On the other hand, this has meant many people get duplicates of the same message each time we mail out to the community. And although you always have the option to unsubscribe at the bottom of each email, many people are afraid they will miss out on an announcement if they do so. It has become obvious that the current approach cannot continue. Luckily, we think we have come up with a solution…

Introducing “Project Central” –

We’ve created a new feature at www.BreakTheMatrix.com that will allow you to create an account and manage all of your grassroots projects and pledges from one central location! No need to sign up for another mailing list, never another unwanted duplicate email, never more than one email a week (and preferably only one every two weeks), and the ability to opt out of everything at any time. We’re offering one central location for grassroots projects to convene and gain exposure to a larger audience. As a community, we now have a much more effective and convenient way to stay informed.

Check out Project Central here: http://www.breakthematrix.com/projectcentral

Project Central is live! Please sign up today, and take advantage of the benefits offered by our new and improved system.

The end of Feedburner..

It’s been a great ride, but it’s time to say goodbye to the Feedburner technology. We’ll continue to send notifications to our Feedburner lists as long as there are subscribers, but we hope those of you still interested in fighting for freedom will join us over at Project Central and unsubscribe from our Feedburner lists using the
unsubscribe link at the bottom of this email.

And remember, we’re all about continuing to build a strong, vibrant community of freedom lovers over at BreakTheMatrix. The bigger we get, the more impact our projects will have – Hope to see you there!

Thank you,

The BreakTheMatrix Team

“Together, we will win.” — A letter from Steve Vasquez, U.S. Representative Candidate, NY 21st District

with one comment

I recently received a letter from Steven Vasquez (who is running for Congress in New Yorks 21st District) after sending out the latest email for the new money bomb site at FreedomSlate08.com. We at BreakTheMatrix.com think Steve has captured much of the essence of the what the freedom movement must do now and so we would like to share it with you .

Here is the email from Steve Vasquez:

Trevor,

The email sent out for the www.FreedomSlate.com is good, but I believe the
message for the next round of emails should be more directed towards
accomplishing the goal of continuing the Ron Paul movement, giving Ron
Paul more voice and votes in Congress, and create enough momentum to
launch even more candidates for 2010. Currently the various Ron
Paul candidates across the country are isolated, essentially competing
with each other for the remnants of the movement left after the
primaries. If we continue this way to fight individually, we are all
going to lose. The strength of the movement was its unity and its
shared and direct vision of restoring the principles of the
Constitution.

I believe the goal of www.FreedomSlate08.com should be 3 fold:

a) Bring as many RP supporters back to volunteer and donate by showing a strength of unity and the possibility of doing more than even the presidential campaign;

b) Raise enough money for the candidates to make their races viable;

c) Make www.BreakTheMatrix.com a central hub to unite the movement.

We must all work together as a movement towards restoring Congress across the country. It is exciting that
each individual campaign has strong supporters dedicated to the
success of their candidate. We should work together to bring everyone back together to
the Ron Paul freedom movement, by showing a strong unity among the
candidates and Ron Paul. The strength of the sum is much greater than
its parts. That is why events such as www.FreedomSlate08.com is such
an important vehicle to demonstrate the strength of the movement
across the country. It is compelling enough to bring the masses back
to volunteer for their local candidates and donate across the board
approaching the levels even half that as it was with Ron Paul.

If in the course of this election cycle, we can bring enough people
back in the movement to donate $6 million (in several money bombs),
that is enough to generate on average $400,000 for the top 15
candidates to run competitive races, and perhaps have 5-10 win. That
is a strong beachhead to grow our voting block by upwards of 1000% in
Congress, and create enough momentum to bring many more candidates in
for the 2010 races.

But we can not do this if we do not work together as a team. Our goal
is to bring back the motivation and hope of the R3VOLution and
demonstrate that they still can achieve change beyond just the
Presidential campaign. We need to do this as one voice. Across the
country. The path towards success is to have many voices back up that
of Ron Paul in Congress, not just one or two.

Individually, we are isolated, fighting amongst each other for the
same resources rather than working to make the overall pool grow and
flourish. Together, we are stronger with a unified principle of the
Constitution to guide us.

Together, we will win.

FreedomSlate08.com, July 4th multi-candidate fund raising event

leave a comment »

Digg!

www.FreedomSlate08.com is a multi-candidate fund raising day event organized by BreakTheMatrix on behalf of a slate of outstanding candidates who all share the values and philosophies of freedom. These are the people who will change America for the better! To elect them in November, 2008, they need our support right now. We’ve gathered the best candidates together on a single slate, and we’re asking you to contribute $100 or more on FREEDOM DAY– July 4, 2008.

Check back with us regularly at www.FreedomSlate08.com or at www.BreakTheMatrix.com for updates. We’re still adding candidates to the slate, and the list is growing. Let’s take back the country– beginning right here, and starting right now! Our country hasn’t been lost; it’s simply fallen into the wrong hands. These are the candidates to change all that.

Each candidate will have an individual ticker on his/her campaign website to show the progress, and we will follow the running totals candidate by candidate and on an aggregate basis right here at www.FreedomSlate08.com. The July 4 contribution can be divided among multiple candidates, or you can donate the entire pledge amount to a single candidate. It’s your choice, but we say this– every slate candidate stands for the values of freedom, and every slate candidate is worthy of your support.

If you believe in America and what it stands for, then you understand a return to the checks and balances of power and a return to the constitution can only be achieved by reclaiming congress. If you want your country back you must regain representation from your representatives. At FreedomSlate08.com we’re coming together and making it happen.

Please visit www.FreedomSlate08.com and pledge to support these freedom candidates now!
